The accuser of our brothers has been cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night (Rev. 12:10).

Satan’s chief work toward us is to accuse us. He accuses us before God all the time and in our conscience until we become weak and powerless.

Although we still need to deal with our sins, never accept the accusations of Satan. The Lord is our Redeemer. He died on the cross for our sins, and now we have His blood.

We overcome Satan because of the blood of the Lamb. Here is a fact.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they loved not their soul-life even unto death. (Rev. 12:11)

But the Bible goes on from the blood of the Lamb. We also overcome Satan by the word of our testimony.

What it this?

This is our testimony that the Lord is victorious and that the Devil has already been judged by the Lord. Although we should never spend too much time to converse with Satan, this is one time when we should verbally preach to him.

“Satan, you were crucified on the cross. You were judged, and your destination is the lake of fire. Don’t come back to me anymore.”

Our brothers in Revelation 12 overcame him not only by the blood, but also by the word of their testimony.
The blood is the fact, and the word is our speaking about the facts.

The blood indicates the fact that our sins have been forgiven and taken away (Eph. 1:7), that we have been crucified (Gal. 2:20), that Satan has been judged (Heb. 2:14), and that his head has been bruised (Rom. 16:20). When we apply the blood, we apply all these facts.

Then, we must declare the facts to Satan. This is to overcome by the blood and word of our testimony.

This is the way to overcome the enemy.
