• That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened …That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith, that you…May be full of strength to apprehend with all the saints what the breadth and length and height and depth are …that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God (Eph. 3:16-19)

Paul prayed that Christ would make His home in our hearts so that we believers would be able to apprehend with all the other members of His Body the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ and be filled unto all the fullness of God.

  • For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col. 2:9)

In Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He doesn’t stop here though. When He comes to make His home in our heart, He comes bringing all the fullness of God into us so that we even become the fullness of God, that is, the expression of God.

What does this mean? Christ makes home in our hearts, fills us with His riches so that we, the church, become the full expression of God.

Because our Christ is immeasurable and unlimited, all the saints must work together to apprehend all of the unlimited dimensions of Christ.

Then, when Christ with all His unsearchable riches makes home in our heart, every part of our inward being, every part of our mind, emotion and our will will be occupied. His filling us with all His riches will result in one thing—the full expression of God.

This is our unsearchably rich Christ.
